I remember when it started, that drumbeat, and turning to the person I was watching whatever news program with and saying, “Damn, they are not going to stop until they get their fucking little war.” And they didn’t.
In a civilized society, these people would have been driven out of their jobs and out of the public eye. But we don’t live in that society. These morally deranged lunatics still have their jobs, and a lot of good people are dead.
