Looks like the GOP learned nothing from the HCR fight. Again, they double down on the “no”.

Republican Senator Bob Corker left no doubt Wednesday that Republicans missed a big opportunity to influence what is perhaps the most ambitious financial reform bill to pass through the Senate since the Great Depression.

Failing to reach a bipartisan deal in committee was “a very large strategic mistake,” Corker, of Tennessee, told reporters after his speech before a U.S. Chamber of Commerce summit in Washington.

The Republican Senator will no doubt be shunned by his tea bagging colleagues.
